FROM CEDAR RAPIDS TO MARSHALLTOWN TO WATERLOO, THE CAMPAIGN FOCUSED OUR GAZE ON IOWA, MAKING OUR MARK ACROSS THE FIELDS OF DREAMS. BEGINNING WITH A SERIES OF TOWNHALLS, TO MARCHING IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE #FIGHTFOR15 MCDONALDS RALLY TO THE DOORS OF THE IOWA DEMOCRATIC HALL OF FAME CELEBRATION, WE TOUCHED ALL CORNERS OF THE STATE IN JUST A FEW SHORT DAYS.

 
 

June 7 - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Speaking at the #PoliticalPartyLive podcast at Coe College’s Sinclair Auditorium, Bernie spoke in front of over 500 voters, eager to hear his famous stump speech.

June 8 - Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Marshalltown, Waterloo, Iowa

Our busiest day of travel on this 3-day sprint, hit up all corners of Iowa. Starting off speaking to over 1000 avid Progressives in Cedar Rapids, we marched in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ Caucus in Des Moines, held a vigorous rally in Marshalltown, and ending the day in front of a full town hall in Waterloo.

June 9 - Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Iowa

Turning up the heat in the afternoon of June 9th, we began the day with a half-mile solidarity march with McDonalds workers and the #FightFor15, ending at the doors of the Iowa State Democratic Hall of Fame, speaking alongside other 2020 candidates on why our message is the one to lead in this race.
