The Back to the Beginning Essentials "Photo 101"course is designed for shooters interested in expanding their knowledge of digital photography. Whether shooting with a mobile phone, DSLR, Mirrorless or other compact cameras, the essential course will set you up with a foundational understanding of photography, and get you on a path to successs!
You'll learn all the necessary techniques needed to master your camera, like understanding the triangle of exposure, manipulating lighting, using white balance, and compositional technique, as well as how to edit your images on in popular mobile and desktop programs. While learning how to navigate your camera and and the fundamentals, we’ll also touch on the principles of photography, and learn various techniques to market your work and get noticed!
This core class is designed with beginners in mind, but can be modified to accommodate those who are looking to freshen up their process and learn some new tricks of the trade, too. Advanced courses are available, as well as introduction to film for those interested in learning about videography.
Each class is one hour long, and students are generally able to get to a level of comfortable competency within 4 to 6 one-hour sessions.
